Lucky, lucky Man Utd, they were truly clueless and it took a stupid challenge at the death to give them a penalty to beat an organized blunts defensive bus!!!!  The blunts will rightly get some credit for their performance but they had zero ambition to even get over the halfway line and if that was us I would be disappointed we didn't give it more of a go!!  MU were there for the taking on the break but SU didn't want to know about attacking!!

Didn't cheer when the penalty was scored but it did make me smile!!!!

To be serious for a moment (yes, I was winding y'all up earlier on!) isn't that the point: they are NOT us. They are a Pub Lg club. Had we been in their position and come away with a draw (which they nearly did) we would have said job well done as the revenues from a home game against MU would have flowed.

Yes we would have said that, and  maybe thats the pragmatic approach but I would still be disappointed with our approach if that was the case.  That same Pub League Club beat PL teams in the last couple of seasons by having a go at them and lost in two semis having a go as  well.  

Considering that was MUs full first 11 I imagine Blunt fans will take some pride from the performance and manner of the defeat, and yes we would have been the same, but MU were shocking today!!  They were clueless in and around the box, it wasn't as if there were any crazy scrambles or missed golden opportunities, they just hardly posed any threat at all in front of goal.
