Match Thread - Fulham - Maddix - 07-01-2016 THE MATCH - SATURDAY 9th JANUARY 2016 3PM KO THE MATCH Well it seems like de ja vu but this time a lot of us couldn't give a toss if we win or lose So there's not much point in harping on This will be our 71st meeting with Fulham and our record is pretty even at W30 D15 L25. We hammered this lot earlier in the season but they somehow managed to score twice to make the result look respectable LINKS BETWEEN THE CLUBS On their management team they have 2 connections to us, one is obviously SG and the other is Mark Pembridge, who is one of their first team coaches. Both teams have been managed by Vic Buckingham and our ex-player Ian Branfoot also managed them. No players come to mind who played for both teams but if anyone knows of any please post them. THE LAST MATCH Was against Fulham at their gaff OUR TEAM As much as the League Cup run was entertaining it did cost us through injuries and fatigue resulting in some silly dropped points Imagine where we'd be with 6 or 7 more points I don't know what sort of team to expect but I would hope that it's the fringe players plus one or two. If we don't see McGugan play I think we can safely say that he's leaving. There's also the loanees to consider too. Who will be allowed to play and who won't by their parent clubs WHO'S THE BASTARD IN THE BLACK Ref - Gavin Ward Asst Refs - Matthew Dicicco and Alan Clayton Fourth Official - Peter 'Snakebite' Wright OTHER RESULTS TO PREDICT Aldershot v Chester Altrincham v Gateshead Barrow v Tranmere Boreham Wood v Cheltenham Bromley v Southport BIG MAN'S LEAGUE Current Table Owlkev Imre Towinjustonce Jacko Pei Madsteve Wereham Thurnscoe Maddix Consilio Stateside St Charles Wellowlbe Bottesford Southey Washington Owlshighgreen A57owl SCORE AND SCORER 1-0 Joao - Wereham 2-0 Joao - Consilio 2-0 Lee - Wash 2-0 Helan - Imre 2-1 Joao - Jacko 2-1 Nuhiu - A57 2-1 Hooper - Stateside 2-1 Nuhiu - Bottesford 3-0 Nuhiu - SCO 3-1 Joao - MS 3-1 Nuhiu- Towin 3-1 Lee - Owlkev 3-2 McGugan or Nuhiu - Wellowlbe 4-1 Joao - Thurny 6-1 Nuhiu - Maddix 1-2 McGugan - PEI ATTENDANCE 10000 - PEI 11211 - Owlkev 11500 - Maddix 12345 - Bottesford 13000 - Jacko 14321 - Wash 15200 - Consilio 15244 15470 - SCO 15500 - Stateside 15678 - MS 15900 - Wereham 16000 - Towin 16250 - A57 16555 - Thurny 16666 - Imre 17673 - Wellowl OTHER RESULTS TO PREDICT (Copying is allowed, all 5 correct will win) HPADD DAHAH - Maddix DAADH - MS HHHHH - Jacko HDHDH - Consilio HADHA - Wellowl DHDAD - Wash AAAAA - Thurny DAAAH - SCO HDAHH - A57 HAAAH - Stateside HHADD - Imre HDAHH - Bottesford HHAAA - Towin, Wereham DAAAH - Owlkev DDHHA - PEI THE MUPPET LEAGUE THE MUPPET LEAGUE IS BACK Bottesford A57 has 2-1 Nuhiu, read the f'ucking thread Wellowlbe you can't pick two bloody scorers in case one doesn't play Stateside too close to Charlie's sorry, you can't be within 100 of another poster PEI for old times sake David Jones ![]() KATE BECKINSALE TRIBUTE PICS ![]() and here's one for PEI ![]() The thread awaits the Meggo of Stateside's choice. Our results with this clown are: Nov 15 - Charlton 3-1 OWLS - 5Y Jan 12 - OWLS 2-2 Hartlepool - 3Y Apl 11 - OWLS 2-0 Hartlepool - 2Y P3 W1 D1 L1 RE: Match Thread - Fulham - Jacko The Flopsy Piglet - 07-01-2016 2-1, Joao 13,000 HHHHH I've paid my £15 to go to this one although I'm conflicted about winning because I hate watching us lose and even though I don't particularly want us to have a big cup run I'd rather lose to someone half decent. By the way, to put the cost of this match into perspective (and other matches this season), I've paid £16 to see the new Star Wars film in 3D later this week and it's quite a bit more to see it in 4D!
