Now my apologies first off, the cold chill has found its way into my system and as such i am writing this from my bed on my phone. Whoopy

Saturday sees town welcome bristol city to the mcgalphsmiths stadium for what feels to be the first time in a long while. Bristol have had a topsy turvy start to the season which has seen some good performances like their televised victory over nottingham forest. But equally they have had some poor results and find themselves in similar position to town.

They are currently managed by Steve cottrill who has always been a decent run of the mill lower league manager but has found himself as a bit of a rescue job manager in the championship having saved forest a few seasons ago.

This summer saw them make a few decent acquisitions in the form of pacey striker Jonathan kodja, strong defender liam moore joined on loan from Leicester whilst on the other hand they decided to let jay emmanuel thomas leave on a free transfer.

Their recent form has been poor, losing 2-0 and 3-0 to blackburn and rotherham respectively as well as drawing against Bolton. However, they did run out 1-0 winners against wolves so they are still capable of pulling out a performance.

Town on the other hand are going through a bit of a revolution or maybe its more of a revelation. Saturday saw wagner get his first three points in english football, although it seems to be have been coming judging on performances. There will definitely be a change in lineup with dean whitehead out for 6-8 weeks with a knee injury, although elliott ward has come in on loan, but i expect him to feature on the bench, unless herr wagner has the idea of moving cranie into whiteheads role.

my line up would be (tricky on phone)

steer (gk)
Smith (rb)
Hudson (cb)
Cranie (cb)
Chilwell (lb)
Dempsey (cm)
Huws (cm)
Scannell (rw)
Paterson (am)
Lolley (lw)
Wells (st)

With a bench of allinson,ward,hogg,bunn,miller,carayol,holmes
I would also go with a 2-0 town win again as we continue this new brand of football.

I've thought about people who have played for both and can only get as far as stewart and stead.

also before i forget saturday sees town offering tickets for just £10 so no reason not to go down and watch, unless you're like me and bed ridden, if so oggy or sir jeff will have to do...

Sorry it is short and picless. I will pad it out if i recover to go on the l'ordinateur. Smile
