I have to veer off-topic to answer that, SCO, which I will do with another post of mine, this time from AVillaFan.

Dimitri posted (maybe over a year ago now) that Chelsea 'got lucky with a billionaire', which is true.
Now there is no difference between Chelsea and Aston Villa, except that AVFC got unlucky with a billionaire.
The contrasting records of Chelsea and Aston Villa reflect the desire of Abramovich to see Chelsea as the top team in the EPL and Europe, against the lack of honest ambition, interest and investment Aston Villa has and continues to suffer, (no) thanks to Lerner.

Aston Villa need a new owner, not a new manager.

Rangers, fortunately, need neither.
