PL survival is your ultimate goal at the start of the season, he is easily achieving that at the moment, you sound like you would prefer to play nice pretty football even if it means relegation, as a fan of a big team who haven't been in the Prem for 15 years I cannot understand that!!!
To be fair, it's not a crime to want to see your team put the nail in the coffin with a second goal against a weaker side. We tend to circle the wagons instinctively after going a goal up, and as a fan watching that, you just end up waiting patiently for the final whistle without the excitement and anticipation of really being able to outclass your opponent and have the final score reflect your superiority. It's efficient and workmanlike, and yes, it's preferable to losing, but hoping for a two-goal or even three-goal win occasionally is hardly Icarus going warp speed for the sun, surely?
