Credit where it's due, the boys played well today. Not as much up and under as we've seen in recent weeks.

Spot on.  There was one moment (late in the first half?) when Jonny Evans had the ball on the edge of our box with Norwich pressing; I braced myself for the inevitable hoof upfield, but instead he played a good lateral ball to McAuley, and McAuley also kept it on the deck and worked it into midfield.  They seemed to be making a conscious effort to play out from the back when possible, which is all we can really ask.
