Agree with most of the posts on here. Thought we had the game in the bag at 2-0 despite not playing great for most of the first half. Our former strikers looked very poor and the game changed when they were replaced but also when Nuhiu went off and we lost the focal point up front. Forestieri tired and Joao was left a bit isolated as the midfield got pushed further back by Preston putting the ball up front to the big men they'd brought on and getting plenty of crosses in. Was a bit worried that my prediction of a late equaliser might come true but, in truth, we coped quite well and should have finished the game on the counter earlier than we did.
At least this season is entertaining which is more than can be said for most of last season.
P.S. If Preston want to stay up they need a much better centre half. Clarke let Nuhiu beat him time and again in the first half and let the ball bounce for the first goal and then let Kieran Lee beat him in the air for the loose ball. Lee then fed the ball to Forestieri and kept running, untracked, to latch onto Forestieri's lovely flick finish coolly.
