THE MATCH - SAT 3rd OCTOBER 2015 3PM UK TIME

This week sees the visit of the second of the three promoted sides to Hillsborough so far this season. Preston came up the hard way through the playoffs, something they have struggled to do on many previous occasions!! While Brizzle were the best team in League 1 last season, Preston were probably the second best for most of the season only for MK Dons to pip them to the second auto spot towards the end of the season.
Their biggest problem this season may be the fact that they are managed by Simon Grayson, a manager with a fabulous pedigree of getting teams promoted from League one but also a manager who has struggled in the Championship after each of his promotions!!! So far this season it looks like that pattern could be repeated with them currently sitting in the bottom three, ironically along with the other two promoted sides!!
PNE have 4 ex-Owls on their books, Marnick Vermijl on loan, Chris Kirkland, Stevie May and Will Keane. Not sure if Vermijl can play in this one due to his loan but then he has been on the bench recently anyway. Kirkland is back-up so will be on the bench but with Garner suspended I would expect both Keane and May to be in the team!!
Their CH Wright will also be suspended for this game after being sent off in their last game.We have played Preston 102 times with a record of W39 D23 L40. Our record at S6 is very good with 28 of our wins coming at home but we have only won 4 of the last 10 home games!!! Our last home game ended in a 2-0 win for us during our promotion season, with a brace from Madine, here is the video:
THE LAST MATCH
Great performance first half, should have been a few goals clear by half-time but we weren't, but no problem, they were down to 10 men and we were 1-0 up so cue a dominant second half performance from...................Brentford!!!!!
They pegged us back but thankfully Joao scored a very well taken goal to claim the three points that really should never have been in doubt!!! Good teams win while not playing great - could we actually be a good team??

Do we expect any changes to the team that started at Brentford?? FF will surely come back in of he is fit, anyone know anything about that?? Will Joao get a shot from the start or will he stick with Nuhiu?? Will McGugan get a run out?? Will Pudil be fit for this one, if not with Helan suspended Wiggins will no doubt fill in. Its certainly nice to see a squad with depth for a change and here is what I would expect to see:
