Mail reporting SB to be offered new contract with £25 million buy out clause which is front loaded (fair enough what JP wanted) in return double wages.

Mixed feelings about this.....but think it's a clever way to get SB back WANTING to play, paying him a more decent wage (pro-rata, taking into account what others earn), and also almost giving him a real reason to want to play and increase his potential value in January - or next summer.
At least JP is holding out the olive branch; let's hope SB will do the right thing and accept it
