It was true. One of our U21s coaches was interviewed about 18 months back, (after Berahino had broken through) and mentioned he had spoken to Izzy, and asked him if he regretted going, and that was is reply.

Nevermind!

To be fair, Izzy wasn't mentioned by name, although there aren't many other people it could possibly have been.  (Maybe Jerome Sinclair at Liverpool, at a push?)

I don't think Jerome was old enough to have a car at the time.
