Why Stubbs went back to get Oxley I will never know as like last year he is clueless on cross balls. Kenny must have thought it was his birthday lurking away at the far post.
If Allan had been fit enough to be on the bench I think it speaks volumes as to what is going to happen next week. Not exactly a Scott Brown v Celtic performance from a few years ago when he finally stumbled on.
Malonga like Oxley should have gone close season.....waste of space.
How can a team buy / obtain 4 - 5 players and have them all injured so none can kick a ball pre season and in the first competitive game.
Well done to Rangers for seeing when our development players had their hands down and gelled well ( for new players together) to turn the screw and put the game well beyond us.
Hopefully some of all these well publicised signings will be fit for the start of the new season.Onwards and upwards.

Yep, what an enjoyable, open game and good comments. I thought it was played like a glorified pre-season friendly and I'm delighted we're out of this tournament! Stubbs side was just an adaptation of the weak Hibs side that played Ayr Utd TBF. Two requests to the manager from most Hibs fans - 1. Please play Reguero in goal and give the guy a chance 2. Bring back the missing half a Hibs team asap! Coupled with the on-field injuries to Malonga and Forster we're missing El Alagui, Keatings, Carmichael, Boyle, Bartley, Watson and others - very disappointing! Also I hope Warburton plays that Gers goalie for the full season as well as the right half who played alongside Wilson - they were mince and how their stuttering goalie was reprieved so many times by Hibs forwards is beyond me. Watch Hibs starting team next week compared with today's side - the difference will be night and day!
