It'll take at least a good performance against Spurs and definitely a result against Burnley to change my mind about AI.
Despite being well liked in the game by numerous players, and also generally coming across as a nice guy, he just doesn't seem to bring anything new to the table. And given the rut we've been in for quite some time now it'll take a real leader to turn this ship around.

From the tone of the article you can tell he knows he's on borrowed time. And despite me generally hating the managerial merry go round, all the signs are pointing to an unsuccessful season and we NEED a head coach who knows his way round this league and can guarantee keeping us up.
I can't confidently say Irvine is the man to do it, and you've only got to cast your mind back to when his appointment was announced.
I wasn't impressed then and I'm even less so now.
