Evans is very deliberate in some of the things he says, even if sometimes he appears to be just on a rant!!! From what I have seen on a couple of forums the Rovrum fans are blaming him and his substitutions for the defeat in the first place and are still pissed because he is expected to leave at the end of the season. This sort of comment deflects all the talk away from that!!

You see this debate so many times on forums now, what makes a club "big"?? If its purely money then with the new Sky deal to teams in the prem will all move into the top 50 in the world, or something like that, automatically!! If Bournemouth get promoted this year, then they will be bigger than us on that basis!! Other fans say its history that decides, because we have won the league 4 times it makes us bigger than a team that has only won it three times, and so on. To me thats also flawed, especially in our case as we last won the league in the 1930s, so 80 years ago, hardly seems relevant these days. At the end of the day who cares who is bigger, we beat them on Saturday and we are higher in the league, that is what everything should be about anyway! Let him say what he needs to say to placate his deluded fans, we don't need to get involved or go into meltdown like some forums have!!!
