I was at that game in cardiff, a fresh faced 11 year old not many memories of the game as a whole, remember all the wednesday goals - Whelans in particular because my Dad and little brother both almost missed it going to the bogs and obviously the Talbot goal

The streets of Cardiff were ridiculous. We got there early (9am ish) and went straight to the pub when the city was empty, Came out maybe an hour and half later and it was just one big sea of wednesday fans, and the noise when the team bus went past I just can't describe it.

Lets hope we can have another day like that next year (and maybe I can enjoy the pubs a bit more )

I came so close to booking a flight back to England for it but by the time we knew we were in the final the cost of the flight was up to nearly $2,000!! I should have had more faith and booked it before we got there and paid the $1,000 fare!!!!!! My parents and nephew went, they said it was superb!! I don't regret it because my experience in the Celtic pub was a unique one as well!!
