Well said SCO, there is no easy option. The answer is for the greed league to share more of the football money with the lower leagues, for the FA to stop allowing a few elite clubs to come in and steal the youth talent from academy’s of smaller clubs that have spent money nurturing talent. Clubs that won’t ever use these players but loan them out to strengthen their monopoly on success and trophies.
We are suffering from financial restraints, we are trying to claw our way to stability and as such have tried to get players and staff on a budget that will not cripple us. This has meant trying to give new coaches a chance, coaches that have not quite learnt all the tricks of the trade at this level, maybe they should have started lower down the pyramid but it is what it is.
We may suffer a relegation and a very slow rebuild, we may never get back to the heights of the greed league because the gulf in money is humongous but we should still have our club.
