25% chance - 4evaabaggie - 23-01-2026 The dreaded supercomputer has apparently given us a 25% chance of relegation, predicting that we will finish fourth bottom on 52 points. We need to achieve 1.15 points per game to achieve that total. We could be bottom three by February, Derby away tonight, then Pompey. Can't see us getting a point in our next four games if our Norwich performance is anything to go on. Derby away Pompey away Stoke home Birmingham away Norwich away (FA cup) Anyone see a win in that lot? RE: 25% chance - Baggie_One - 23-01-2026 Ohhhhh my Have it RE: 25% chance - Blue Baggie - 27-01-2026 We're in Ramsay's hand. We have to beat Portsmouth or will be down and out. I'm sorry to say this but our new owners are directly responsible. Major failure is clearing the backroom out, pathetic transfers in and out Appointment of rookie managers. Our £40 million debt still waiting to be paid. I'm questioning if our new owners are competent and are what we need. RE: 25% chance - 4evaabaggie - 17-02-2026 Things are not looking much better, Blackburn won at the weekend, tonight at half time Pompey 2-0 up against Charlton. We are fourth bottom, two points ahead of Leicester, who have had six points deducted. Teams around us are winning odd games, we have managed three draws in four games I still struggle to see where our next win is coming from ...... anyone got any hope to lend me..... please Just seen we have three games in a week, forget the game against Coventry but we need six points against Oxford and Charlton. Keeping everything crossed. Come on you Baggies RE: 25% chance - baggietrousers - 17-02-2026 Sorry mate, but I’ve got no hope of my own so can’t loan you any. I just don’t see where we can pick up any points other than maybe Oxford. RE: 25% chance - 4evaabaggie - 18-02-2026 Not many replies or offers of hope to loan. I think that sums up the total mood of pessimism amongst us baggies …. Hope I am wrong but hope is in short supply. RE: 25% chance - baggietrousers - 19-02-2026 4eva, if by some minor miracle we are not bottom three after this weekend, then I might have a little hope to spare you some, but don’t hold your breath. Leicester’s appointment of Rowett I think is a great move for them and will probably save them from the drop. RE: 25% chance - 4evaabaggie - 19-02-2026 Opta have us going down on 51 points, the same as Blackburn but a worse goal difference. That 5-0 defeat to Norwich and the 3-0 to Pompey could prove to be very costly …… To be fair, I can’t see us getting 17 points from 14 games anyway so the goal difference would be irrelevant. We would probably need at least four wins to get near that total ….. going backwards, how many league games would you need to backtrack to get four wins? Just done the count back, you need to go back 18 games for us to achieve four wins, we also drew four games and lost ten games. A grand total of sixteen points, not the seventeen points opta predicted and we have four less games to achieve it. We’re doomed, we’re doomed. Don’t panic, don’t panic. A touch of dad’s army creeping in, backs to the wall and all that. RE: 25% chance - Blue Baggie - 19-02-2026 I've already accepted were down. Thank you to our new owners for turning us into the new Walsall. The points deduction for Administration but keeping our better players, removing our debts may have been a better option. I can't even see us bouncing back up as our new owners haven't got a clue or any money to invest. RE: 25% chance - Baggievicar - 19-02-2026 Leicester appealing against their 6 point deduction. I bet they win that. |
