Salop, I was there in 78, aged 11 (before my summer birthday), I remember the journey down, passing Wembley on the train in a nano second, on the way back the train took three days to pass Wembley, or that’s how it felt to a heartbroken pre teenage boy. That heart break repeated against Spuds in the league cup semi over two legs and QPR (courtesy of Allen’s arse I think) and again against Pompey in 2008, their goal would have disallowed under VAR due to the handball on the touch line leading to the shot, save and tap in. Why do we never have any luck in the cup competitions.

Yes one of my worst moments in football that train ride, trying to hide the tears 'as an 18 years old', only to look up and see so many doing the same thing. Today its like oh well at least we might get a few players back now.
