Oxford United have signed forward Aidomo Emakhu for an undisclosed fee from fellow Championship side Millwall.
The 22-year-old has agreed a two-and-half-year deal at the Kassam Stadium after three years with the Lions.
The former Shamrock Rovers striker scored three goals in 74 league appearances for Millwall after signing in January 2023.
Two of the Irishman's three goals have come this season - the last coming in his final Millwall appearance - a 4-0 win over Charlton Athletic on 24 January.
"He's a player with significant pace and the ability to create chances," Oxford head coach Matt Bloomfield told the club website., external
"We believe he can continue to improve, and we see him as important for both the present and what we're building towards in the long term."
Oxford United have signed defender Ruben Roosken on loan from Huddersfield for the rest of the season.
The deal includes an option to buy that could turn into an obligation to sign him should certain conditions be met.
The 25-year-old has made 40 appearances for the Terriers since signing in early 2025, scoring three goals and assisting on eight occasions.
Roosken will link up with former team-mate Brian De Keersmaecker, who he played with at Dutch side Heracles Almelo.
Roosken told the club website: "This is a really exciting move for me and one I can't wait to get started on.
"I'm an ambitious player and I've come to Oxford with a real desire to help bring success this season and beyond.
"I want to contribute quality, embrace the challenge, and help the club immediately."
