I think if we lose tonight against QPR, the board will have no choice but to sack Mason because his position becomes untenable IMO.
If we win, which we are capable of, then that buys him time (yet again).
I think it's inevitable that he loses his job eventually. We just seem to be plodding along hoping that one day he wakes up as a manager. I don't think it's ever going to happen as the mistakes just keep happening.
He has finally selected Grant, Johnston and Illing-Junior together for the first time tonight, dropping Price. That's what I've been calling for, so we'll see if it makes us any better.
However, Wildsmith and Diakite are still in the team. I just don't get it to be honest. He seems incapable of picking the best XI.
