I've said it previously about the club, in a show of faith and trust, but now I actual believe it - they know what they are doing.
Our new owners are both real business men that are ensuring the finances and management of the club are above board and add to that they seem to have a real passion for what West Brom stands for.
I agree that sadly, due to the gross mis management (and crooked behaviour) of our previous owner it seems we will need to sell players to adjust our position with PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules). Only buy selling our expensive assets will we be able to buy others. In doing this I understand the new spend then pans over the next rolling 3 years and things get easier. But in doing so they are new transactions and fit within this 3 years rolling PSR window that dictates a clubs purchasing power.
On the field, we have only had the one game. The players still need to get up to speed and comfortable with what Mason wants them to do, but again, the signs seem to be there.
Whether we make the play offs or not, is hard to predict. But I feel the club is in good hands on all levels.
The only thing that baffles me is that if PSR is not rigid and tough on us how come so many other clubs (Brum) seem to be able to spend at will?
It's better to be an optimist than a pessimist and so I stand by this (for now).
