It would be an interesting signing. Shankland has scored a shedload of goals but can also be somewhat inconsistent. I appreciate there is always the argument of the standard of teams he is playing against but, by and large, he’s a pretty good finisher. On a free and likely lower wage demands, I think it would be a decent signing.
