Attendance: 16,646 (3,363 Derby County fans).
Referee: Mr D Webb.
A game which got worse as it wore on, can't say either side deserved to win, to say chances were at a premium in the second half is an understatement, two shots from Derby one from Harness in the last minute which went just over the bar, we created next to nothing in the second pperiod, spent the entire half playing at a snails pace we passed it around the back three as they waited for any movement in front of them, it did not come and we made it easy for Derby to sit deep and wait for us to lose the ball.
The first period was actually entertaining on a day truly awaul weather, Storm Bert had deposited thounds of gallons of water on the pitch and probably the star performer of the day look in top condition after he game.
Fast paced first half we started well Riis had an effort from 35 yards went wide, looked the more likely to score and halfway through the half we did, ball in from the left ball looped over giant visitors keeper Zetterstrom. Lead didn't last long not so sure whether Yates was offside but no whistle and he headed home from close range.
Greenwood forced a save from Zetterstrom and we had a few corners but all square at half time, push on in the second half, didn't happen, bit of disastisfactin at the end.

THE BOSS
Paul Heckingbottom felt his side weren’t creative enough to go and get the three points against Derby County.
His team were made to settle for a point on home turf after Jerry Yates cancelled out a well-taken header by Sam Greenwood.
The goalscorer came closest to scoring a winner for North End with a curling strike shortly before the break, however there weren’t many opportunities created in the second half to go and win the game.
Hecky said: “The game didn't surprise us at all. We knew it was going to be a real battle and we'd have to stand up. My disappointment is that I thought we had control in the first half without really opening them up.
“We scored a really good goal and then within six or seven minutes we concede from what their threat is, which we know. Once again, Freddie's not had a save to make and we've conceded and we're coming away with a point.
“That's a frustration but I can't stand here and say that we opened them up enough to take the three points. Obviously, we defended well if Freddie's not having a save to make. The one moment we didn't, we conceded.
“At the other end, we weren't creative enough. I know Derby will say how well they've defended. I get that and they have. They made it really, really difficult for us but we didn't open them up enough times or have enough pressure and touches in their box to force that goal.”
In the second half, Kaine Kesler-Hayden and the returning Milutin Osmajić had half-chances in the 64th minute, but aside from that, the Derby goal remained unchallenged in the second period.
The match became physical and scrappy at times, which is something that didn’t surprise the North End boss with how the Rams have done so far this season.
Hecky said: “That's what they're very good at. If you watch any of their games, they’re so, so tight. Whether they win by a single goal, they draw or lose by a single goal, that's how they play. They're very, very effective at it.
“They’ve got to earn every single bit and don't give you a thing. That's their identity. That's what they do.
“I want to give them big credit for that, but likewise I've also seen enough games to see that they do usually pose a lot more problems. That's why I'm so frustrated that one shot on our goal – well, not even a shot. It's a second ball from a set play and we've conceded.
“We were good without the ball, had decent control in the first half with the ball, but we didn't create enough really good goalscoring opportunities which is credit to them and also where we need to be better.”
Derby County manager Paul Warne told BBC Radio Derby:
"Away from home, you don't want to lose points. We tried to win.
"I made all the subs to make us more aggressive, more attacking but we just came up short.
"That's no disrespect because this team just finished outside the play-offs last year. It's a really good assembled squad so the lads should take some real praise for that."
