I agree. Saido does so much good stuff that we now almost take for granted - the way he peels away from the central channels and makes space; his first touch is amazing; he's SO 2-footed defenders just don't know where he's going.......but IMO his biggest asset is the way he holds the ball up in tight situations. For a bloke who's probably - what - 5ft 8" and 10 stone soaking wet this is a great atribute!
And to have an instinctive 'nose for goal' too - last night's was a real beauty but he generally hits the ball so sweetly. Great talent!
I can really see the confidence in the team start to grow from here, and although we're certainly not out of the woods yet, at least we've got a map!
