CC now 6/4 favourite to get the Leeds job, but we will see, the compensation would be pretty high I would think, but Lai would be thinking MONEY.

Can anyone educate me?  Are managers contracts similar to players in the respect of the club must be approached first and asked for permission to talk to the manager?  If they are why would we not be giving a two word answer the second of which would be, 'off'.

but a club can refuse an approach for a manager under contract
however sometimes the amount of compensation offered will allow the club to grant permission
at least i think that`s how it works
