I've just watched the highlights and another thing that stands out as a difference from last season is that Carlos had us flooding the box when we were in with a chance. Yesterday, Ward won the ball and got a centre in for somebody to tap in. Five defenders and no attackers were there.

And how did the ref not give a penalty on Sorba. The most blatant one of the season that we've had turned down. As Fothers says after the game, poor Sorba had blood all over his sock.

I wasn't there, but listened on the radio and have just watched the ten minutes of highlights, but it would seem that Will Boyle was the outstanding player on the day.

Glennon put the Blackburn goal down to inexperience from Spencer, but I disagree. Don't know who it was, but one of our midfielders gave the ball away cheaply on the half way line as we were launching an attack. Spencer was on his way forward to join the attack, when suddenly he's on the back foot chasing Diaz. To be fair to the lad, he did catch him up, but Diaz is too clever and switched back, taking out another two defenders, leaving himself with a clear shot. That's good finishing from a top player.

And that top player was reduced to half chances for the rest of the game, apart from the one that Nicholls saved and they got an offside rebound from.

I don't think we're all that bad. We just haven't had any luck yet and we definitely need to get more players in the box when attacking.
