How many times have we said of clubs “they’re too good to go down”? Well I think we need to ditch any such sentiment and recognise we are in a dogfight. To use that well worn cliche “the table doesn’t lie”, we are bottom but one because we’re dreadful.
When I saw today’s team, I felt the same as Slick; I know we were poor on Tuesday but leaving out Diangana, and bringing in Grant and Reach defied belief. I was only surprised it took Millwall 90 minutes to get the winner. For me, the only pleasing outcome of Beale’s short tenure has been the restoration of TGH to midfield. Like Slick, I’ve only idea what Rogic has to do to get a start.
I’m assuming Corberan will be the new manager and I think he is the best we could have realistically appointed but does he have a job on his hands.
