If I fail to do my job, if i bring my employer into disrepute or for a number of other reasons I would be sacked, I would not get compensation, it would be a P45 and nothing else.
He is an employee that has failed to do the job he was employed to do, he is damaging his employers business and risk their future sales and profitability. How is he any different to you or I, why should bad managers take jobs, damage clubs, annoy the customers (supporters) and then walk away with millions of pounds.
If he was doing a decent job but not a great job and was fired then that would be a different story.
He is failing, the football is not getting results, the players are not motivated, it should be a case of the sack and no compensation.

I share your frustration 4Eva but the Albion are subject to employment law like every other employer. Unless you’ve committed an offence that would be termed “gross misconduct” within your organisation’s disciplinary procedure that would result in summary dismissal without notice, a poor performance should be taken through such procedure, usually with warnings etc. If your company wanted to get rid of you, they could offer you a package and probably an NDA, thus bypassing the disciplinary procedure but that is fraught with danger for the company.

I don’t think Bruce is any different. He has a contract that is subject to the law and both parties have to abide by it. If one wishes to terminate early, it costs them.

I feel like you, I wish he’d just go but, if we sack him without compensation, his lawyers would be all over it like a rash
The light at the end of the tunnel is the light of an oncoming train
