Bruce should of his own volition resign even to save face. Lai would understand that, and he should as well.![]()
As I've said on a couple of occassions, Bruce has lost the dressing room, and if you have that, the players are not playing for him even though we mostly have most possession in most games.
JUST GO, retire, and enjoy your life playing scrabble.![]()
No manager would ever resign these days, and nor should they, there is no loyalty to them by clubs so its a two way street these days. Bruce has to go, as an outsider I can see that but he has a contract and the club will need to pay him off if they want him gone. With Lai being invisible and making seriously dodgy loans and dividend payments I am not sure he will allow the club to pay off Bruce. I listen to a podcast called The Price of Football and they were talking about the financial situation at the club a week or so ago and they were concerned over your current situation.
I agree. When a contract is signed and agreed, then it should be honoured. This is Bruce’s employment and he has the right to see out that contract; if the Albion wish to dispense with his services (and most of us supporters would prefer that), then he should be dismissed and paid compensation for the contract he’s unable to fulfil. He cannot be expected to just walk away for the good of the club and it’s supporters
