Thanks for those very interesting stats, Ska'd.
Was thinking we could swiftly use those stats - then fans' marks out of 10 - to evaluate our Management's abilities. But you also need Salary cost etc, and Sale, to put anything into perspective.
eg BURKE:
Cost less Transfer Out: 13.68 - 2 (?? say)
Salary etc: (say) 3
Total Cost: 14.68
Marks out of 10: (say) 3
Value Score: 3 divided by 14.68 = 0.2
whereas GAYLE might score 8 divided by 4.8 (say) = 1.66
These stats mean nothing out of context, though, because you could mark DeBruyne with a 9 and divide by his costs of (I dunno) 45, and he gets the same Value Score 0.2 as Burke.
I'll stick to what I'm good at:
