Stop-gap maybe?

I can't believe we beat Notts County like that. The players obviously have heart.

I am afraid it was much more than the shape of the team. They were nothing like a Paul Cook team against Yeovil. In fact they weren't like a team, except that they kept trying. Had you told me there were seven new signings out there I'd have believed you. The game was summed up when the ball flew out of play towards Paul Cook. He killed it stone dead in one superb moment of control. He always was a lovely player. I'd have given him MOM over Kellerman.

I hope Cookie really does want to be on Sheffield Road. This season I'm afraid the best we can hope for is coming through the Play-Offs. Back in EFL2 he'd be almost my ideal manager. It's here and now and being in the National League that makes him the wrong fit for me. But I'm hoping I can be as wrong as I was last night for the rest of the season.
