Just back from ER Stadium and that's a good summary of the 1st half. That clear goal kick, given as a corner, was a disgrace by that AR who was about 2 feet from the touch off the Rangers player. Also the offside call (same AR) against Boyly was another wrong call - lotsa fans like myself, in the East Stand, and in line with Boyly's run. Second half, Hibs giving as good as their getting from Rangers with some really good controlled phases of this match, but with no end product. I thought one "defining moment" was Cadden's great scoring opp to give Hibs the lead - didn't hit the baw true and accurate (a bottom LH corner strike), a big chance gone
!! In that last quarter of the match I was just waiting for Beaton to add to his shite performance and he didn't fail with that pk call to ensure they didn't drop the two pts in what looked like a "stick on" 0-0 draw. So we had a known Rangers "diver", Kent, entering Hibs pen box and Porty desperately "pulling out" and trying to avoid contact with the c### AND HE HAS DIVED while I'm perceiving that lotsa tv pundits are "falling back" on the contact excuse to justify Beaton's shite decision. I'm sure that is 4 x consecutive matches v the Huns, excl that emphatic 3-1 Hibs win at Hampden, that Scot refs have "played their part" in ensuring Rangers get a result in tight matches v Hibs. My OP is as accurate as it gets in indicating a huge concern re a match official who could well "make the result" as it has happened on previous occasions. Note Hibs SM was rife with similar concerns re the referee and no f###### wonder. Have you noticed it always favours them!!!? 
For example, re pen kicks alone, Hibs have been denied much worse offences than that one tonight. Remember Newell almost getting his head kicked off in their pen box at Ibronx last season. There is no way this pk award would've have been given retrospectively to Hibs. One last comment I'll say/predict right now is that if Rangers play this style of footie when they play Celtic at the turn of the year, I reckon they'll be well beaten. I thought they were there to be beaten by Hibs tonight after observing the 1st 20 mins. IMO an opportunity to overturn this dismal league record v them GONE, AND NO THANKS TO THEIR USUAL 12TH MAN IN LEAGUE MATCHES V THEM!!
