I think probably best (save the walking) is the little industrial estate type parking, right opposite the ground.
If you come of the motorway down the A41 (The Birmingham Road) Grounds on your right, there's a Mcdonalds on your left. Just before the Mcdonalds is Match day Parking. It's about £4 I think, and I have rarely heard of any problems there. It's quick to walk to and from the ground from there too. As long as you get there more than 30 mins before there should be no problem with getting a space.
