I saw Jimmy play just once at the time when he was still playing for Chelsea. I think that I'm right in saying it was his last away game for Chelsea before he went off to Italy.
Our defenders managed to keep him quiet that day apart from one moment of shear magic. He received the ball some 25 yards out with his back to goal. Before any of our players could react, he swivelled and hammered a shot which only just went over the bar with our keeper well beaten.
Somehow we ran out winners by 3-0 with two from 'The Tank' and the other by a certain guy who went back to Fulham, took Ipswich to the First Division championship and later Managed England.
R.I.P Jimmy may you long be remembered.

Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.
