A lotta folk saying some Hibs players tired out after last weekend's derby commitment? They had six days to recover and so early in the season too!!! Also it was a perfect day for a game of footie and with Hibs unbeaten and in decent form up to this game. No excuse for that! You do the biz on the training pitch and choose the best players available to take on a team that still hasn't won a Scot Prem match this season. Even before this game started I could've pre-warned every Hibs player that Brophy and Shaughnessy were the main threats to be aware of, Shaughnessy particularly from set piece attacking positions and scoring the odd goal with his head - he has done it before at ER Stadium with Saint Johnstone!!
With a few mins remaining in this match, I'd expect every Hibs player to be primed on this info and fully focused on protecting their 1 goal advantage - THAT'S WHAT DECENT SIDES DO DEFENSIVELY AND DO IT CONSISTENTLY EVEN AT TIMES WHEN THEY POSSIBLY DON'T DESERVE TO WIN CERTAIN MATCHES!
