As the other posts, I feel that Ideye would've had far less pressure on him if this had been known, and therefore a far better chance to succeed.
Naughty JP & all - this MUST have been done to give a false impression that we had, at last. spent serious money.
However it DOES come as a relief in another way that, if TP does want to move him on, it won't be difficult and also won't break the bank.
Let's move on to another serious striker then. RVP anyone?
