Used Latin and Greek all the time when I studied Anatomy and Physiology. Helped me remember names of body parts.

And it gives me that cultured profile that I've maintained ever since.

There were still a few of them still there when I was at HS many years later - Colin Smith, Fat Bazza, Killer, SEP & Sid. Sid was my Head of House (same as Oxon Owl).

In my day houses were Saxons, Normans, Picts, Goths, Trojans, Jutes, Franks. can't remember any more.

I was in Jutes.
