So just imagine that they had walked after the Wigan game. We would've had (probably) Mark Hudson in charge for the rest of the season. We would undoubtedly have gone down. The club would be in an even worse state than we are now. I doubt very much that Carlos would've left his job in the Premier League to go and be Head Coach in League One.

Yes, the football was quite dull at times, but we were fighting a relegation battle. It was, as Danny said, if you can't win, don't lose. This club owes the Cowley boys a great amount of gratitude for doing what they did. Of course, if they had walked, it wouldn't look good on their CV's, but they would have been pushed really.

I hope, for the good of all Townkind, that Hodgkinson hasn't cocked this one up.
