Well Hibs have allowed their opponents to "creep in " close behind them to possibly "nick" a top six place. Now the "alarm bells are ringing" for me that Hibs are hugely vulnerable in this match due to a clear lack of leadership and character spread throughout this team. One "ray of hope" for me is the fact I observed the highlights of the Saints' recent match v Livingston and they were "jammy" to get away with 3 pts and in light of the number of occasions their defence was breached by the Livy forwards on a shit pitch btw. However, this match is now a "hi pressure game" in which the players have to show some character and durability. They need to win it to enforce their top six position!!! There is no doubt in my mind that Jack Ross has a Hibs formation that will win this match but will he choose wisely and manage the situation properly under such extreme circumstances??? I have my doubts and see this, from a Hibs fan's pt of view, as an absolute "nail biter" mainly because of that observed "lack of character" and leadership that has been exposed throughout this Hibs team. Again, for the umpteenth time, I believe he needs to improve this defence. Adding an element of mid physicality is required IMO in order to protect a fragile Hibs defence. Also apply wise changes to that defence? We'll find out soon enough if the correct decisions and solid leadership are applied in order to stave off a potential season ending implosion.
