Well Hibs have allowed their opponents to "creep in " close behind them to possibly "nick" a top six place. Now the "alarm bells are ringing" for me that Hibs are hugely vulnerable in this match due to a clear lack of leadership and character spread throughout this team. One "ray of hope" for me is the fact I observed the highlights of the Saints' recent match v Livingston and they were "jammy" to get away with 3 pts and in light of the number of occasions their defence was breached by the Livy forwards on a shit pitch btw. However, this match is now a "hi pressure game" in which the players have to show some character and durability. They need to win it to enforce their top six position!!! There is no doubt in my mind that Jack Ross has a Hibs formation that will win this match but will he choose wisely and manage the situation properly under such extreme circumstances??? I have my doubts and see this, from a Hibs fan's pt of view, as an absolute "nail biter" mainly because of that observed "lack of character" and leadership that has been exposed throughout this Hibs team. Again, for the umpteenth time, I believe he needs to improve this defence. Adding an element of mid physicality is required IMO in order to protect a fragile Hibs defence. Also apply wise changes to that defence? We'll find out soon enough if the correct decisions and solid leadership are applied in order to stave off a potential season ending implosion.

The league needs to be suspended for 3/4 weeks til we see the lay of the land.

Absolutely nuts for Scotland to play league fixtures this weekend (including a 50k plus one) while the rest of Europe is shutdown. What the xxxx are the authorities thinking of ?
Game off, sensible decision in the end, the goverment in the UK is incompetent on so many levels, we are sleepwalking into hell.
Yep! I concur with all those comments but will add that IMO THE FOOTIE SEASON IS ACTUALLY OVER - unprecedented in my life time! This virus is now in Edinburgh and I await the outcome with trepidation although I trust Nicola and the Scot govt with their plan of action and the mitigation measures that are in place. Lastly, take care everyone and follow the medical advice and good practise that has been formally issued by the Scot govt and the CMO.
What gets me is that they waited until the English FA pulled the plug before acting. They were absolutely going to play that old firm game for instance, probably because of the financial consequences for sevco. C**ts.

What now ? Well we have to wait and see what UEFA decide next week first of all. The remaining fixtures could perhaps be played out at some point later on - if not we have a serious problem.
I must say the last min cancellation of Scotland's 6 Nations match v Wales in Cardiff is a real "kick in the teeth" for lotsa travelling Scot fans. Gotta empathise re the lateness of this move esp when most rugby fans suspected during the midweek period that this match a "no goer"!
Raman on STV saying the SPFL looking likely to decide to end the season in current positions if the games can't be played, there’s no plans at all to void the leagues.

Having spent a fair amount of money this season watching hibs I'd prefer the results to stand if we cant play on and even the jambos I've spoken to feel the same way even if they go down. if it was voided I'd want my money back.
