Blimey - loads of negativity on here; I just saw a Championship side make 9 changes and go toe to toe with a Premier League side's first team and JUST get beaten.
I definitely think playing Brunt (has he ever had a worse game) and Barry together was a mistake, but I've got to say that I was pretty impressed with all our youngsters.
Agree that our strikers look very ordinary but, all in all, I think we did well, particularly when Krovinovic came on and looked a class act. I liked the style of our play, looking for the triangles and playing the angles well.

I'm obviously in a minority but, although we lost and Newcastle JUST about deserved it, I'm going to bed a relatively happy bunny  

Good post, I agree West Brom seconds v Newcastle first team and we nearly got a result. Krovinovic was great, Dara O’Shea was good and is definitely one for the future. Harper looked good but tired the last quarter of an hour. I thought Phillips was great and Zohore made a difference coming on as a sub. Lots of positives for me and hopefully take the positives into the next game.

Sorry to say Brunt and Barry did not work out and may be the last we see of them. If so I have got to say I have loved watching Chris Brunt over many years and wish him well for the future. Many great goals and assists, what a sweet left foot. 

Hope the Albion can find a place for him in the training facilities family.
