There's a lot of people who seem happy to see him go - I don't get it.

He is the only player we have who can put the ball in the net. The main reason he
hasn't scored in recent weeks is because he's been dropped.

Against Arsenal and QPR, he was a crossbar away from scoring. The latter made
himself in a game where our midfield stopped playing at half time. Against Villa he
came on and created the only goal after we looked completely impotent again.

Yes, he missed a couple of chances in the the 1 recent start he's had, against City.
But his movement was a constant threat throughout.

Yes, the £20m+ is a great fee, but it's no use sitting in JP's pockets when we don't
have a player that can put the ball in the net...

Isn't our next top scored on 1 goal?

We can barely score as it is and now we're losing our only threat.

I couldn't care less with what he does off the pitch (within reason) as long as he
keeps scoring goals at this level. Primarily, I want to see West Brom remain a
Premier League side.

The only way I'm happy with this deal going through is if he stays on loan for the
rest of the season. For me, it doesn't matter if it's £5m, £20m or £50m - if you
lose the only player who's capable of putting the ball in the net in January, you're
going to end up in deep sh*t.
