Johnstone is still learning his craft. His distribution has improved beyond belief this season. For me he needs to take command of his area more and come for the ball on occasions. If defenders aren't closing down (which is true) he needs to kick em up the arse. He's still got a lot to offer. For the people who think he can't stop long range shots, have a look at them and tell me any goalkeeper who would haved saved them. A lot have been superb strikes and nothing to do with poor goalkeeping. He's our number 1.
The romour has it, Foz asked for a contract extension and the Italian DOF (Terranio) excuse the spelling. Said "why the hell should we extend your contact, you just helped us get relegated" if that's true, it may have a lot do with his decision to leave.
