Hecky fortunately had a "Lennon side" last season and took advantage of that fact with the decent players he had available. It's no coincidence that Hibs have suddenly lost to such a terrible score line and Lenny now gone from ER - he would never have lost that game in such a negative manner!! Also I'm noting the previous critical comments re Hecky and his poor record at Elland Road from many Leeds fans!! Some of their comments tie in with his unimpressive remarks and his poor tactics!! I've had a good sleep after that disgraceful event and now see it that this management team are on their "last orders"!! IMO Hibs must bring back Gray, ditch Hanlon who has been a nightmare, introduce Middleton on Hibs left flank and stick to Horgan on the right flank. As for Hibs midfield permutation? I'm stumped re the best balance!! Scotty Allan is a "must", IMO Vela is "mince" and got "found out" at Ibronx!! Mallan is very good in certain matches but not all of them. Newell is a total "waste of space". Imagine that we lost out on Omeonga and ended up with that sub-standard pish!! We need a "metronome" mid player just keeping the Hibs movement "ticking over" and we also need that "physical presence" that big Marv provided for years!! My view, for what it is worth, is that Hecky and his assistant are "living on borrowed time" and will definitely be gone. I hope I'm wrong but I know my footie - played it at a good level for a very long time and watched Hibs since the early 60s!!
