Put in perspective, Tidy, I think all of us would have been more than happy with 4th/5th - I was actually quite wary we'd 'do a Sunderland'.
If we'd had Holgate start of the season, and if we'd had the Brunt/Morrison/Phillips of a few years ago, and if we'd still got Foster, we'd be up now! The midfield has been very poor, though.

You say "been battling" - does that mean ongoing? We're right behind you, mate. We've missed your humour - and we might need it next month, so keep battling!!

I do think Big Dave lost his way and some disastrous results in a cut-throat league at a key time spoilt our chances of automatic promotion. Play-offs always scare me as 'form' goes out-of-the-window.
