From the bare stats you'd think Jordan Bowery got lots of goes at Villa stardom. He struggled to get minutes on the field is the truth. They didn't think he was good enough.
I understand where you're coming from and the stats can be misleading. I think Ricky German should have stayed at Chesterfield as he would have done well in the National League. Jordan Bowery struggled to make the jump from L1/L2 to the Premier League and it was a struggling Villa side as well.
