Thanks for that Matt. I reckon anybody in the league could get promotion if they recruit well, so long as they haven't got an artificial pitch. Look at Solihull this season.
Given my way I'd offer another year to Binnom-Williams and Ofoegbu and think about Charlie Wakefield. I now only have to recruit one keeper so I can get one who is 21-22 ish in view of Jalal's experience.
I'm sure we're not going to have much money to lash out, and maybe I'm mad to want to take a risk on the most ill-disciplined player in our league, but I'd have to try for Kosylo from Halifax as I think he'd give us a dimension we lack, a few goals and a touch of class. Otherwise I'd be happy to recruit from below us. Alex Brown at Buxton for instance seems a consistent, there every week player - he's bright and ambitious and I'm sure he'd see us as a chance to reach the EFL.
My theory is you want a nucleus of players who want to step up in their careers. My worry with Mr Sheridan as manager is that he probably doesn't know the non-league scene and may well recruit amongst EFL names on a downward spiral. That will fail. The National League isn't an easy option for legs getting to the end of a long career is it?
