If form meant anything in this league we'd all be bookies and drinking our favourite tipple by a swimming pool in a far warmer and nicer place than HMS Great Britannia. It would be a place that never has hurricanes, snow or tornado's and Town keep winning the League 3 times in a row. A bit like like Liverpool and Arsenal winning League titles at the moment, or Town playing in the Prem this season, that loverly kind of place that we and others dream of but doesn't really exist.
We got stuffed on Saturday by a team that was pretty much all ex Prem players (or should be current Prem players) that had been on a bad run and found the form eventually that got them up there in the first place. Glad they sold Pilks to Cardiff to be honest or it could have been really embarrassing in the second half.
On Saturday we are up against a team that has been mediocre and worse for ages but is on a current run of good form due to bringing in a former home town favourite as manager (for now) and a new signing or two that Wor Lee couldn't nail down. Owt could happen and probably will. Hopefully we'll burst the bubble that has formed around them since last weekend's win. And another thing, how the chuff have they got above us so quick after Wor Lee seemed to have them perfectly placed to go down? If they win a couple more I might have to move out of Middle England and head back north it is getting that bad. Wolves fans are looking nervously over their shoulders down here all of a sudden as well as us.
Want a win on Saturday as much as I need to hit the sack right now. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
