We will certainly know a bit more about our youngsters after this one.
It's a bit unfair - nobody puts out a completely different team against a side from a division higher and expects several of the young players to instantly perform like they belong in the PL. Too many times when these thrown together teams lose and then it gives a perfect excuse as to why the youngsters have not been given a run in the first team. I'm not sure who they are trying to convince or justify the selections - the fans, the players or themselves?
Brighton normally play 5 across midfield - Against our 3 we may well be struggling.
