Sectarianism and violence are huge causes of trouble in the world and until society in general starts to calm down, the problem will never be solved. Thing is ritchie, there are loads of managers and players out there who hated and disliked for a variety of reasons but none of them have had half of what lennon's had to put up with.
The 'brings it on himself' crowd really need to take a good look at themselves, too often its handy camouflage for something more sinister. It gives the lunatics you see on forums and twitter the excuse to carry on.
