…….following some of the usual shit comments against him that followed another sham at Tynecastle, a stadium that has been the site of previous shit like the stuff that we are talking about again!!!!
Lenny highlighting the sectarian issue that he has experienced, first hand, down the years and it is still continually "swept under the carpet" in a country, Scotland, that professes democratic principles etc. ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Also reconsidering his position in Scottish footie much like he did at the worst time when managing Celtic FC. It's high time somebody made a big issue out of the sectarian crap that still pervades our society and the sport of footie rather than just anti-sectarian organisations like Nil by Mouth who indeed recently challenged another sectarian "clown" called Ian Durrant to volunteer to visit schools and tell kids why they should not be anything like the sectarian moron that he portrays and has been filmed doing it! No response of course from this sectarian bigot and no surprise there!! These people must be challenged as a matter of course!

I totally accept most Hertz fans don't hate him for religious reasons. But things cut both ways in life and if he brought it on himself then the Hertz fans brought his reaction on them too.....you got to take it back - minus violence and sectarianism.
I think he's serious about quitting and we need to back him big time at the weekend.

Jim, I agree with you that he needs our backing but, being an intelligent man, he surely must realise that he is part of the problem. If he wasn't such a reactionary hothead, he wouldn't attract such abuse.
Sectarianism and violence are huge causes of trouble in the world and until society in general starts to calm down, the problem will never be solved. So, come on Neil, just admit to yourself that you are part of the problem and concentrate on happenings on the pitch and not on the lowlife mob behind you.

Heyyy!! Just a minute!! An effigy (and other hideous graffiti!!) of a hanged footie manager outside said footie stadium before the game is definitely "crossing a red line" and if UEFA were "running the show" up here, Tynecastle Stadium would be "shut down" and "closed doors footie" would be imposed! Why was there a sudden "focus" on Neil Lennon!!? We've been settled re this kinda stuff for a long time!!!! Wisen up FFS! Why dya think certain Hibs fans reacted in the way they did from well before this game began to travelling through the city centre and being embroiled in the mass brawls. It was "poisonous" from start to finish and the word "incitement" was rife well before this game ever started! My biggest disappointment is the fact we didn't win this match because it is one of these instances where a winning result would've been all the "sweeter" although the result was still a "psychological victory" with 10 Hibs players battling it out and an end result that a lotta jumbos clearly couldnae "take it on the chin" anyway.

Hey guys I've been away a while but good to be back.
The way I look at it we can't fall out with each other it's not the hibs way we stick together. I'm not going to say he was right or he was wrong but standing on the away terrace before the game started you could feel the tension build.
What I witnessed I could not believe there was a hibs fan getting escorted out the ground for being pitch side of the wall while he was struggling with the stewards some wee ned jumped out the hearts section and punched him only then to jump back in amongst the hearts cheering him as some kind of hero. Only minutes later while 4 hearts stewards standing watching the section at the corner flag I could not believe the hearts crowd threw 3 lit flares into the hibs support nothing done what so ever. Yes I no there was stuff thrown by hibs supporters ie pies juice etc it was horrible to think what damages those flares could have caused.
Neil Lennon is a winner through & through and he's transformed our club mentality to the same to me the man deserves all the plaudits he gets but does not deserve the all the crap he gets. I honestly hope he really considers his future along with Leanne Dempster and does not walk away from HFC we need him to take us forward so lets all show him the credit he deserves and the support more importantly

Hear hear! I must also reiterate that the management of Hearts security inside the PBS is AGAIN called into question and remember the repercussions re that previous invasion when that jumbo thug tried to assault Lenny during the Celtic match at the PBS and how he was allowed to trespass in the dugout area! Same again and general stewarding "called into question". To the SFA - appropriate action please!

Shame, do like the guy and do feel he is a target because he opens his mouth to say something it`ll only happen more and more, I dont know if silence is the right answer or to complain, he does wear his heart on his sleeve
Cannot point the finger at Scotland either, this bloody stupidity every year on November 5th is just a much a celebration of sectarianism and as antiquated as bear baiting and slavery
Let us really annoy everyone and prove we haven't advanced as a people by having a day celebrating Richard I `s beheading over over 1700 Muslims after the siege of Acre
a day to celebrate Edward I`s expulsion of all Jews in the UK (never rescinded!)
and "Hawkins Day" to celebrate how well we treated African people

Thing is ritchie, there are loads of managers and players out there who hated and disliked for a variety of reasons but none of them have had half of what lennon's had to put up with.
The 'brings it on himself' crowd really need to take a good look at themselves, too often its handy camouflage for something more sinister. It gives the lunatics you see on forums and twitter the excuse to carry on.

I thought he behaved like a passionate Hibs footie fan, simple as that! As previously stated, "He wears his heart on his sleeve"!!! It was also good to hear the Dons' manager, Derek McInnes, "jumping in" to defend Lenny and touching on the ridiculous message coming from certain "critics" that all footie managers should remain passive and silent on the touch line!! It's a passionate game FFS!

The annoying thing is everybody thinks Neil Lennon must stand in whatever dug out and take pelters from all these morons calling names decrying his religion etc and everything is acceptable but the moment he hands a bit of banter back all of scotland are calling him for everything.
Even yesterday st Johnston fans calling him a *anker unbelievable delighted to hear the home support voicing their support for the manager.
